underlying her free approach is a real<br />
attention to both composition <strong>and</strong> form,<br />
a testament to her intuitive artistic<br />
prowess. Andre’s paintings are both<br />
contemplative <strong>and</strong> powerful, providing<br />
a window into the emancipated creative<br />
subconscious mind <strong>of</strong> a child.<br />
Aelita is <strong>of</strong> Russian heritage but currently<br />
lives with her parents in Melbourne,<br />
Australia. She is the youngest member<br />
<strong>of</strong> NAVA, the National Association for the<br />
Visual <strong>Art</strong>s.<br />

Aelita in her Studio<br />
naturally in a subconscious state <strong>and</strong><br />
doesn’t need any <strong>of</strong> the artificial or forced<br />
inducement that other artists sometimes<br />
employ to achieve similar effects in<br />
their art. For her, the immediacy <strong>and</strong><br />
spontaneity she captures in her images<br />
are the result <strong>of</strong> pure creative energy,<br />
free from the hyperconscious linear <strong>and</strong><br />
self-critical state that so many artists<br />
battle.<br />
What makes Aelita’s work so compelling<br />
