Scholarship<br />
• Conduct informational sessions and application workshops for prospective applicants and<br />
current students to learn about financial aid options and application procedures.<br />
• Ensuring that students are aware <strong>of</strong> all scholarships available, especially those available<br />
and applicable to minoritized and underrepresented students.<br />
• Include more information about scholarships, bursaries, funding, and essay prizes during<br />
student outreach, admissions, orientation, and throughout the year as needed.<br />
• Provide financial support and opportunities for research, projects, and initiatives on<br />
equity-related topics.<br />
Curriculum<br />
• Increase collaboration between the <strong>Equity</strong> Task Force and the Curriculum and Field<br />
Education Committees.<br />
• Active student participation in the construction and modifications <strong>of</strong> equity and diversityrelated<br />
material in the curricula, including ongoing student evaluations.<br />
• Consider candidates’ ability to integrate equity into their teachings during the hiring<br />
process.<br />
• Discuss equity and diversity-related issues in the curricula during faculty meetings and<br />
retreats.<br />
• Teach critical-reflection and anti-oppressive practice from a social justice perspective in<br />
every course delivered, rather than only focusing on this in courses specially addressing<br />
equity-related topics. This can be achieved by increasing attempts in moving beyond<br />
token inclusion and moving towards fully integrating the material in all courses. This
