Block and Record Module Exit and Entry Summary
Table 1 on page 63 through Table 4 on page 65 summarize the use of the BUFLEN, BUFLEV, MSGLEN,
and MSGLEV parameters upon exit from the BFX default block module and entry to the user-written record
module.
BUFLEN BUFLEV MSGLEN MSGLEV Significance
0 -1 0 0 Record module is being called for the first time.
0 0 0 0 Normal data transfer. Data or message should be returned.
0 16 0 0 File transfer aborted. Record module may return a message
to be printed locally. Always last time record module
is called.
