Group 11 Jewellery including Handicraft Items of Jade and
Ivory
The FHKI’s Hong Kong Coalition for Intellectual Property Rights, Intellectual Property
Department, Customs and Excise Department and the Hong Kong Jewelleries and
Goldsmiths Association jointly organised the Intellectual Property Protection for Jewellery
Industry seminar in June 2007. Around 50 people attended the seminar.

An increasing number of individual Mainland visitors with growing purchasing power
presents unprecedented business opportunities for Hong Kong’s jewellery retailers. Thus
the FHKI organised the Design Trend and Retail Outlook in Jewellery Industry seminar at
the Langham Hotel in October 2007 with over 75 participants joining the event.
In November 2007, the Group organised a mission to Guangzhou Panyu. Led by vicechairman
Sunny Chan, over 30 delegates visited the production lines of Waddy Jewellery
(Guangzhou) Co Ltd and Noble Jewelry Holdings Ltd. Delegates took this opportunity to
network and share professional experiences.

商 會 於 2007 年 6 月 合 辦 了 「 珠 寶 業 界 保 護 知 識 產 權 研 討 會 」, 向 珠 寶 業 界 提 供 最 新 的
知 識 產 權 資 訊 及 策 略 , 當 日 約 有 50 名 會 員 出 席 。
隨 著 購 買 力 強 勁 的 內 地 旅 客 人 數 不 斷 上 升 , 香 港 珠 寶 零 售 業 正 受 惠 於 這 前 所 未 有 的 龐
大 商 機 。 有 鑑 於 此 , 工 總 於 2007 年 10 月 假 朗 廷 酒 店 舉 行 了 「 珠 寶 設 計 趨 勢 及 零 售 發
展 研 討 會 」, 吸 引 了 超 過 75 名 參 加 者 出 席 。
分 組 副 主 席 陳 祖 成 於 2007 年 11 月 率 團 前 往 廣 州 市 番 禺 考 察 。30 多 位 團 員 分 別 參 觀
了 廣 州 煒 迪 珠 寶 有 限 公 司 及 億 鑽 珠 寶 控 股 有 限 公 司 的 生 產 線 , 並 互 相 交 流 了 管 理 心 得
和 營 商 經 驗 。
