To assist the candidate and assessor in collecting evidence to meet the expected outcomes<br />
of a unit standard, assessment tools maybe used.<br />
<strong>Competenz</strong> Assessment Tools<br />
<strong>Competenz</strong> provides two types of assessment tools:<br />

(AG)<br />
Candidate and<br />
<strong>Assessor</strong><br />

Directs the candidate to complete clearly defined<br />
tasks.<br />
Provides a method of collating written answers<br />
as evidence.<br />

May have other evidence attached to it.<br />
<br />
May include an observation checklist, to be<br />
completed by the assessor (possibly with the<br />
assistance of a verifier).<br />
<br />
Includes a cover sheet that allows for recording<br />
of personal details and assessment judgements.<br />
Model Answers<br />
(MA)<br />
<strong>Assessor</strong> Includes instructions for the assessor that<br />
explain the evidence that must be collected and<br />
the assessment requirements and conditions to<br />
be met.<br />

<br />
Includes an evidence map showing how each<br />
aspect of the unit standard(s) is covered in the<br />
required evidence.<br />
Provides clear instructions for judging<br />
competence of written answers. It may also<br />
include example answers.<br />
