S2-PDGS-AI-255 The PDGS/AI function shall generate synthetic operation reports along time, providing periodic and self-consistent updates over the recently performed activities (successful and failed) including an inventory of the archive updates and data circulations performed. The generated reports shall be systematically routed to the MCC function for configuration control and further processing. S2-PDGS-AI-260 The PDGS/AI function shall perform the archival and retrieval operations in a complete autonomous way requiring no operator intervention nominally. S2-PDGS-AI-265 The PDGS/AI function shall perform all circulation operations systematically and automatically requiring no operator intervention nominally based on the configured circulation rules. S2-PDGS-AI-270 The PDGS/AI function shall apply the retention policies systematically and automatically requiring no operator intervention nominally based on the configured retention rules. This includes the autonomous triggering of long-term archiving operations to the LTA service and caching management. S2-PDGS-AI-275 The PDGS/AI function shall systematically generate and supply archive report updates on the newly archived, modified or removed data to one PDGS/DAX function instance in the PDMC and one additional physically redundant instance in one PAC. S2-PDGS-AI-280 The PDGS/AI function shall be configured to circulate the HKTM PDIs to the FOS via the PDMC. S2-PDGS-AI-285 The PDGS/AI function shall be configured to circulate the satellite ancillary data PDIs to the POD function. S2-PDGS-AI-290 The PDGS/AI function shall be configured to circulate the archived product data across centres according to the operational configuration for circulation outlined in the [OCD]. S2-PDGS-AI-300 The PDGS/AI function shall be configured in two redundant PACs for the systematic copy of all archived L0/1B/1C data to long-term storage. S2-PDGS-AI-305 The PDGS/AI function shall supply status information over all its processes and resources (i.e. log information, disk volumes usage, alarms, etc.) in real-time via the M&C function. S2-PDGS-AI-310 The PDGS/AI function shall generate a critical alert to the operator whenever the remaining on-line storage space falls below a configurable threshold. 5.7.4 RAMS REQUIREMENTS S2-PDGS-AI-315 The PDGS/AI function shall ensure nominal availability unattended for better than 99.7% of the time computed over one month time window and assuming a degradation of such figure for no more than one day. S2-PDGS-AI-320 The PDGS/AI function shall provide the required autonomous data reallocation, reindexing, etc. capabilities that ensure no degradation on the performance requirements along the mission time life. S2-PDGS-AI-325 The archive-to-archive circulation operations and retention management operations shall ensure consistency of the archive hierarchy and completeness of the circulation, move or clean-up operations such that: PDIs are circulated, moved or removed together in complete form of their granularity (e.g. MSI granules are always comprehensive of all spectral bands, associated metadata, etc); datastrip-level or orbit-level PDIs are removed only after all related lower level PDIs are removed; low-level PDIs are never moved alone without their cross-related upper-level PDIs; etc ESA UNCLASSIFIED – For Official Use © ESA The copyright of this document is the property of ESA.
