You can purchase additional pages in increments of $5 (100 pages) by
filling out the Printing Fee Payment Coupon. This Coupon is available in
Admissions and Records, the Library, all computer labs, and the Business
Office. Payments are made in Admissions and Records; check, cash,
debit, or credit cards are acceptable.
Funds will usually be added to your account within two business days, so
plan ahead for all your printing needs. This fee is nonrefundable.
Stop by the Library if you need further instructions on accessing or setting up your
Email and Network Account.
Nixle
In the event of emergencies, campus closures, or other catastrophic events, FRC
utilizes the Nixle public safety alert service.
Nixle is a FREE service which instantly links you to important FRC
announcements regarding campus closures or emergency situations.
Nixle will ONLY be used for emergency situations and campus closure
information.
All information from Nixle is sent to your mobile phone (via text) and to
your email account.
How to Register for Nixle:
Log on to www.nixle.com
Click on “SIGN UP NOW”
Enter in the required information and click on “I accept, Sign me up”

Closures Due to Adverse Weather or Catastrophic Events
In the event that classes are canceled or campus is closed due to adverse weather
or catastrophic events, notifications will be made through the following means:
Nixle - emergency communication system
Posted on the FRC website at www.frc.edu
Message on campus voicemail: 530-283-0202
Local radio stations announcements: KNLF, KTOR, KJDX/KSUE, KQNY
Email to all students through FRC email account
Decisions to close are usually made by 7:00am. If the college opens for the
morning but weather worsens, closure decisions will be made by 1:00pm. with
notifications immediately following the decision.
