<strong>Student</strong> Activities<br />
ASFRC sponsors a variety of extra and cocurricular<br />
activities designed to reflect the<br />
interests of a diverse student population. The<br />
ASFRC organization plans entertaining and<br />
educational events such as cultural and<br />
social awareness programs, special topic<br />
presentations, dances, dinners, concerts and<br />
recreational activities.<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Clubs<br />
<strong>Student</strong> clubs are open to all students and provide an opportunity to pursue special<br />
interests with those who share them. Clubs vary from year to year depending on<br />
student interests and their formation is actively encouraged. Clubs are required to<br />
have a club advisor (usually an FRC faculty or staff member), and must file for a<br />
club charter with the Associate <strong>Student</strong>s. At least one club member is expected to<br />
attend ASFRC meetings on a regular basis to promote cooperative and<br />
coordinated activity planning among the various campus organizations. ASFRC is<br />
proud to support the various student clubs to help students get the most out of their<br />
college experience.<br />
Some of the current clubs include:<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s in Free Enterprise – Focuses on community outreach<br />
and entrepreneurship along with ethics and personal success skills.<br />

Art Club - <strong>Student</strong>s who enjoy creativity and want to interact with<br />
other creative students, check out the Art Club. All interested students,<br />
artists or non-artists, are welcome. Club Advisor: Dianne Lipscomb,<br />

<strong>Student</strong> Environmental Association (SEA): Environmental<br />
Studies majors or anyone interested in environmental activities,<br />
projects, and field trips. Club Advisors: Darrel Jury and Darla DeRuiter,<br />
ext. 262.<br />
<strong>Feather</strong> <strong>River</strong> Outings Group (FROG) : Our mission is to<br />
provide the FRC community with a variety of outdoor adventures<br />
and activities that offer a fun experience for participants and a<br />
unique experiential learning environment for aspiring outdoor<br />
