Enrollment & Academic Requirements
Below are major enrollment and academic procedures and requirements. It is
important to understand and carry out these procedures and requirements to
ensure academic success.
Adding Classes
You may add classes to their semester class schedule by the deadlines
published in the Academic Calendar.
You may add classes through your Student Portal (MyFRC).
You should speak with your Academic Advisor to ensure that the classes
meet your academic goal.
Dropping Classes
There are two dates for dropping classes (see the Academic Calendar).
Classes dropped by the first date will not be recorded on your transcript.
Classes dropped by the second date appear as a “W” on your transcript
indicating official withdrawal from the course.
You may drop classes through your Student Portal (MyFRC).
You should speak with your Academic Advisor before dropping a class.

Withdrawal from College
To officially withdraw from all college classes prior to the end of a semester,
you must complete an Official Withdrawal form.
All college property (i.e. books and equipment) must be returned and any
outstanding financial obligation to the college must be paid before your FRC
transcripts will be released.

IMPORTANT! Ceasing to attend classes does not constitute official withdrawal.
Failure to officially withdraw from classes following the procedure outlined above
may result in “FW” grade being recorded on college transcripts, which is equivalent
to an “F.”
Military Withdrawal from College
If you are a member of an active or reserve U.S. military service and receive orders
compelling a withdrawal from courses, you may withdraw at any time during the
