Smoking on Campus
To promote the comfort, health, and well being of all students, staff, and visitors,
and to maintain the safety of District facilities:
Smoking is prohibited in the proximity of entrances, exits and operable
windows, on pedestrian pathways, and in District facilities and vehicles.
Smoking is allowed at designated areas as follows:
- Flat area behind Classroom 239
- Area behind the 600 Building - outside behind the Gallery
- Bottom level of Student Center – outside on west end next to the
memorial bench
- Science Building – across the street next to ADA parking stall
- Voc. Tech Building– west end of parking lot.
Tape Recorders in the Classroom
The use of tape recorders in classrooms requires the instructor’s
permission.
If a tape recorder is required as a result of a disability, the student should
contact Disabled Student Services for assistance.
Other Rights and Responsibilities
Additional rights and responsibilities expected of FRC students are contained in the
Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook. Students are expected to
familiarize themselves with this Handbook, which includes the following:
