Smoking on Campus<br />
To promote the comfort, health, and well being of all students, staff, and visitors,<br />
and to maintain the safety of District facilities:<br />
Smoking is prohibited in the proximity of entrances, exits and operable<br />
windows, on pedestrian pathways, and in District facilities and vehicles.<br />
Smoking is allowed at designated areas as follows:<br />
- Flat area behind Classroom 239<br />
- Area behind the 600 Building - outside behind the Gallery<br />
- Bottom level of <strong>Student</strong> Center – outside on west end next to the<br />
memorial bench<br />
- Science Building – across the street next to ADA parking stall<br />
- Voc. Tech Building– west end of parking lot.<br />
Tape Recorders in the Classroom<br />
The use of tape recorders in classrooms requires the instructor’s<br />
permission.<br />
If a tape recorder is required as a result of a disability, the student should<br />
contact Disabled <strong>Student</strong> Services for assistance.<br />

Additional rights and responsibilities expected of FRC students are contained in the<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Rights and Responsibilities <strong>Handbook</strong>. <strong>Student</strong>s are expected to<br />
