academic credit has not been awarded. You must complete an Official Withdrawal<br />

form and must verify your military orders.<br />

Class Attendance - Regular attendance promotes success!<br />

You are expected to attend all sessions of each class in which you are<br />

enrolled.<br />

If you do not attend the first two meetings of any class in which you are<br />

enrolled without prior notification to the instructor, you may be dropped<br />

without notice.<br />

Instructors set an attendance policy for each class and have the option of<br />

including attendance as a grading criterion.<br />

It is your responsibility to know and comply with class attendance policies.<br />

Absence Due to Illness<br />

You should notify your instructors if you are unable to attend classes due to<br />

illness.<br />

It is your responsibility to make arrangements with your instructors to<br />

complete missed coursework.<br />

Limitation of Course Load<br />

You may enroll for a maximum of 19 units per semester.<br />

To exceed this maximum, you must obtain the prior approval of the Chief<br />

<strong>Student</strong> Services Officer by completing the Petition to Enrollment in More<br />

Than 19 Units form.<br />

This form is available online at http://www.frc.edu/admissionsandrecords/.<br />

Submit the completed form to the <strong>Student</strong> Services Office.<br />

Overlapping Classes<br />

You may not enroll in classes or labs that have overlapping meeting times.<br />

Requests for exemptions to this rule must be submitted on the Overlapping<br />

Classes form to the instructors involved and to the Chief Instructional<br />

Officer.<br />

Course Repetition<br />

You are permitted to repeat a course when:<br />

The course in question may be repeated for credit.<br />

See your academic advisor for details.<br />

A substandard grade (D, F, W, NP) has been received.<br />

The new grade will be used in grade point calculation and considerations<br />
