offers a preschool<br />
program for children ages<br />
2-5 years that provides a<br />
setting that is rich in a<br />
variety of educational<br />
materials and activities<br />
that encourage<br />
enthusiasm for learning.<br />
The staff is professionally<br />
trained in Early Childhood<br />
Education and offers a<br />
nurturing environment with<br />
a creative, age appropriate curriculum. Areas covered include social, physical,<br />
emotional, and cognitive development. A nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack are<br />
prepared daily.<br />
Eligible student-parents may enroll their children free of charge, or for a minimal<br />
fee on a sliding scale basis. To be eligible, student-parents must be enrolled in a<br />
minimum of six units at <strong>Feather</strong> <strong>River</strong> <strong>College</strong>.<br />
Statistics show that children who attend preschool have developed a stronger<br />
foundation of the life long learning skills of creative thinking and problem solving.<br />
Hours: 7:45am — 5:15pm, Monday—Friday<br />
