"A" Grade Standard
(a) Replace 10 adjacent roving bobbins
and piece ends perfectly in
35 seconds.
(b) Start 10 adjacent ends perfectly
in 35 seconds.
"B" Grade Standard
(a) Replace 10 adjacent roving bobbins
and piece ends perfectly in
45 seconds.
(b) Start 10 adjacent ends perfectly
in 45 seconds.
"C" Grade Standard
(a) Replace 10 adjacent roving bobbins
and piece ends perfectly in
55 seconds.
(Z>) Start 10 adjacent ends perfectly
in 55 seconds.
IV. Trade Tests:
1. Replace bobbins, piece ends and
start ends skilfully within a certain
time as specified in the Skill
Standard, the piecing should be
correct and clean.
2. Clean a ring spinning frame
efficiently within a reasonable
time.
3. Differentiate between rovings of
different blends and counts.
4. Differentiate between different
types and numbers of ring
travellers.
5. Answer questions satisfactorily
on:
(a) The f purpose of ring
spinning.
