following an efficient cleaning
schedule.
14. Know the different types and
numbers of ring travellers and
their relationship with yarn count.
15. Be aware of the importance of
removing roller laps with the
hook parallel to the roller
surface.
16. Be aware of the importance of
detecting and removing faulty
bobbins and placing them in a
certain place.
II. Trade Skfll: Be competent in:
1. Starting and stopping the ring
spinning frame, creeling, piecing
ends and starting ends skilfully
at a good speed.
2. Cleaning a ring spinning frame
and the surrounding area according
to schedule.
3. Differentiating between different
types and numbers of ring
travellers.
4. Differentiating between rovings
of different counts and on
different colours of bobbins used
for various rovings.
5. Detecting double thickness or
irregular roving.
6. Detecting and replacing faulty
aprons or rollers.
III.
Skill Standard:
"A" Grade Standard
(a) Piece 10 adjacent ends perfectly
in 40 seconds.
(b) Start 10 adjacent ends perfectly
in 40 seconds.
