The four areas of wine cultivation

Such a fertile region as this is naturally used productively for
agricultural purposes. A healthy mixture of forests and fields
in particular shape the picture of the Kraichgau and the
Bauland. It is, however, besides other numerous agricultural
products, mainly the viniculture, which has put the region on
the culinary map. The junction regions between the Rhine
valley and the neighbouring low mountain ranges are the
Bergstrasse in the east and the Haardt with the “German
Wine Route” in the west; on these slopes grapes prosper
particularly well. The unusual and balanced soil and climatic
conditions makes it possible, not only for professionals, to
cultivate their passion in tending to the land, gardens, and
the viniculture.
