Emergency services<br />

If someone has a life-threatening injury or sickness, please directly call the<br />

emergency number 112 or 19222 (for stroke victims or children). Give your<br />

name and place of residence/location, as well as a short description of the<br />

situation, so that the emergency physician and the ambulance can speedily<br />

assist you. The emergency number can be called free of charge via all<br />

telephones.<br />

If you need a physician outside of the usual consulting hours, you can call<br />

the medical emergency service at any time. They will advise you and also<br />

send a physician or an ambulance if necessay. You will find information on<br />

the emergency services of physicians and pharmacies in the local section of<br />

the regional daily paper.<br />
