5.10 Other client commands<br />

The following sections list commands that can be used to per<strong>for</strong>m a number<br />

of client tasks.<br />

5.10.1 Changing the client operating system<br />

Changing the client operating system means that the client needs to be<br />

redefined. What happens is that, effectively, the client definition is deleted<br />

and then redefined with the new operating system. When the client is<br />

rebooted, the new operating system is installed.<br />

To change the client operating system, you must redefine the client. You can<br />

change the operating system using the NETWIN RIPLMACH command. You must<br />
