Management Act 2004.<br />

Seasonal closures of permanent<br />

roads must be gazetted annually.<br />

Where <strong>VicForests</strong> requires a<br />

permanent road to be<br />

temporarily closed (including<br />

erection of bunting barriers),<br />

<strong>VicForests</strong> must submit a<br />

completed Road Closure Plan<br />

(refer to Schedule 9 of these<br />

Procedures) to the Area Manager<br />

for approval.<br />

ground, or dry periods if there is<br />

a significant chance that:<br />

i). the road surface will<br />

deteriorate; or<br />

ii). watercourses will be polluted.<br />

The approach to any bridge,<br />

culvert or log fill crossing that<br />

has been removed must be<br />

adequately drained to restrict soil<br />

movement into a stream or<br />

waterway.<br />
