Adobe pro zpracování dokumentů pro prezentaci na webu
a profesionální tisk, zakoupen Akrobat 7.0 a upgrade programu
Finale. Uskutečnila se výměna části zastaralých PC a v programu
Reliéf II byly dopracovány tiskové sestavy Convera pro
hudebniny.
Celkově byl rok 2006 z pohledu APF velmi úspěšný, podařilo
se výrazně urychlit digitalizaci, plnit na dobré úrovni
veškeré požadavky programu a zvýšit hlavně externí výnosy
za poskytované služby.
Publishers arranged 886 loans. In total, the Archive and
Programme Files provided almost 101,000 documents as
loans.
Technical developments
At the end of the year a system was installed in the sound
recordings library to store operational recordings (known as
the Digital Sound Recordings Library). We succeeded in improving
the software equipment, Adobe software was installed
to process documents for web presentation and professional
printing, we bought Acrobat 7.0 and a Finale program
upgrade. We replaced some of our outdated PCs and we
completed work on our Convera printed layouts for music
scores in the Reliéf II program.

Overall, 2006 was very successful from the standpoint of
Archive and Programme Files. We managed to significantly
accelerate digitization, to meet all our programme requirements
to a high standard and above all to increase external
earnings for services provided.
At the beginning of the year our Association was badly
affected by two serious losses, with the deaths of first our
Director Josef Henke, state Order of Merit holder and honorary
RPA President, and then Zdeněk Bouček, RPA Active
Vice President and our delegate at international competitions
and seminars, Chairman of the Editorial Board of Svět rozhlasu.
It will be difficult for us to replace their expert and
individual contributions to RPA events
The “Spring Seminar”, arranged by the Association in collaboration
with the Journalism Department of the Charles
University Social Sciences Department, took place 26th April.
Under the title of DIGITAL BROADCASTING we focused on
new digital stations and the new type of broadcasting in general.
The seminar placed the performance of specialists from
the Faculty and Czech Radio departments in the context of
digital broadcasting throughout the world, Czech Radio digital
stations, a technical view of digital broadcasting and its
prospects. The programme centred around the performance
of students who have successfully attempted to analyse their
impressions and experiences as listeners with digital programmes.
Their observations were assessed and commented upon
by their tutor Josef Maršík. The contents of the seminar are
recorded in a collection of the same name: DIGITAL BROAD-
CASTING, which was published in time for Prix Bohemia
Radio.
BILANCE 2006 included a selection from the annual spoken-word
artistic production and took place at the end of
May and the beginning of June. Fifty-two participants in the
fourteenth annual BILANCE heard twelve literary programmes,
four radio dramas and one fairy story. Under Czech Radio
supervision, its Programme Director Jaromír Ostrý took part
in the hearings and discussions on radio dramas on 31st May.
The active participation of consultant to the Programme Director
and author of radio plays Jan Vedral was also of great
benefit. From the spoken-word drama programmes heard in
BILANCE, a possibly gratifying piece of information emerges:
“Czech Radio has hitherto had creatives in the most demanding
radio forms, which have been able to compel the
audience to listen attentively. It has values in them which can
be asserted much more boldly on the media market.“
The Prix Bohemia Radio Seminar had two parts. The first
part analysed the profile and recalled the legacy of Zdeněk
Bouček, while the second part dealt with the actual main
subject of the seminar: REPORTING ON THE RADIO. Radio

Na počátku roku postihly naše Sdružení dvě vážné ztráty.
Opustili nás režisér Josef Henke, nositel státního vyznamenání
za zásluhy a čestný předseda SRT, a redaktor Zdeněk Bouček,
aktivní místopředseda SRT a náš delegát v mezinárodních
soutěžích a seminářích, předseda redakční rady Světa rozhlasu.
Jejich odborný i lidský podíl na akcích SRT budeme
nesnadno nahrazovat.
Takzvaný Jarní seminář, který Sdružení pořádá ve spolupráci
s Katedrou žurnalistiky FSV UK, se konal 26. dubna.
Pod názvem VYSÍLÁME DIGITÁLNĚ jsme se věnovali novým
digitálním stanicím i novému druhu vysílání obecně, seminář
rámovala vystoupení odborníků z pracovišt fakulty a Českého
rozhlasu o digitálním vysílání ve světě, o digitálních stanicích
Českého rozhlasu, o technickém pohledu na digitální vysílání
a jeho perspektivách. Jádrem programu byla vystoupení studentů,
kteří se s úspěchem pokusili analyzovat svoje posluchačské
dojmy a zážitky s digitálními programy. Jejich postřehy
komentoval a hodnotil jejich pedagog Josef Maršík. Obsah semináře
je zachycen ve sborníku se stejným názvem Vysíláme
digitálně, který vyšel k termínu PBR.
BILANCE 2006 shrnula výběr z roční produkce slovesné
umělecké tvorby proběhla na přelomu května a června. Dvaapadesát
účastníků XIV. ročníku Bilance vyslechlo dvanáct
literárních pořadů, čtyři rozhlasové hry a jednu pohádku. Za
vedení Českého rozhlasu se 31. května zúčastnil poslechů
a diskusí o rozhlasových hrách programový ředitel Jaromír Ostrý.
Přínosem byla i aktivní účast poradce programového ředitele
a autora rozhlasových her Jana Vedrala. Ze slovesně drama-
