Permits, special repons, and fees<br />

If a mining or extraction operation meets the definition <strong>of</strong> a treatment, storage, or<br />

disposal facility but does not have interim status, then a permit would be required (20<br />

NMAC 4,1, Pans V and IX), In addition, an administrative permit fee would be required<br />

by the state (see the Hazardous <strong>Waste</strong> Fee Regulations [HWFR-1]. RCRA Subtitle C,<br />

Hazardous <strong>Waste</strong>, describes the potential permits and repons that may be required.<br />
