The residential use does not abut the Business and Civic Zone and hence is not
afforded the protection provided in this Scheme standard in respect to the
interface between the Business and Civic and Residential Zones. Nevertheless
standard conditions of the permit will ensure that no environmental nuisance
or harm is created as a result of the development.
Issue 6.0 Amenity of existing non residential use or development
The objective is:
To ensure that new use or development does not adversely impact on
the operation of existing non residential use or development on
adjoining sites.
The nature of the proposal does not involve any processes or activities that
would lead to adverse impacts on the operation of existing non residential use
or developments on adjoining sites.

Not applicable
Issue 7.0 Pedestrian Movement
The operation of the proposed Hydrotherapy Pool will not obstruct pedestrian
movement along the Goldie Street footpath.
Relevant Schedules
12.0 Heritage Schedule
No sites of cultural significance including Aboriginal heritage are within the
land area proposed for Hydrotherapy Pool.
17.0 Car Parking and Access Schedule
The intent of this Schedule it to:
Ensure adequate parking is provided for all use or development;
Ensure that parked vehicles do not obstruct the passage of other
vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists or create traffic hazards; and
Minimise detrimental impacts of vehicle parking and access and
driveway needs on the amenity of the use or development, streetscape
and the neighbourhood.
