Among acoustic guitarists, the name of C.F. Martin is
synonymous with enduring quality. Since Christian
Frederick Martin took up the family craft in Germany in the
early 1820s, Martin has continuously produced handcrafted
instruments that are recognized as the finest in the world.
Headquartered today in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, this privately
held company is led by Chairman and CEO Chris Martin.
“Our position has always been that a good guitar cannot be
built for the price of a poor one, but who regrets the extra
cost of a good guitar” asks Mr. Martin. “Chubb applies that
William Tully,
U.S. Mid-Atlantic
thinking to its insurance products, and we have Zone Officer
always felt confident that their commitment to
being the best at what they do is consistent with ours.”
In addition to providing the company’s property, casualty,
executive protection, excess liability and international
coverages, Chubb “went on the road” as the insurance
provider for the 2004 worldwide tour of Martin’s millionth
guitar.
