A. APVT-20-000804 Modeling, simulation and safety analysis of reactive distillation units in<br />

chemical industry (Jozef Markoš)<br />

The design of a reactive distillation unit requires detailed knowledge of the reaction kinetics and equilibria of all<br />

reactions, vapour - liquid equilibria, and, in the case of heterogeneous catalysis, knowledge of transport<br />

phenomena in the catalyst particle as well. Through a mathematical model describing the unit properly, it is<br />
