14. Consider requiring a Special Exception permit for large buildings or uses that may have an adverse impact on
community character.
15. Continue to provide for adequate transitions between business or industrial uses and adjacent residential uses.
16. Continue to encourage site design that minimizes curb cuts, creates cross-connections, shares parking, and
encourages pedestrian use.
17. Continue to explore ways to provide for more flexible parking requirements in the Historic Preservation Overlay
Zone when sites are interconnected and/or parking is available nearby.
Continue to Allow Appropriate Home Occupations
18. Continue to allow reasonable home occupation uses in Colchester.
19. Modify home occupation regulations to adapt to changing circumstances.
