Who is the SOC target audience<br />
What are the main elements of the SOC Report<br />
The State of the Coasts report is intended for:<br />
a. Chief Executives of local governments;<br />
b. ICM managers;<br />
c. ICM practitioners; and<br />
d. Coastal communities and other<br />
stakeholders.<br />
The SOC report contains the following:<br />
a. An Executive Summary featuring a fact sheet<br />
of the area, and a summary of key findings,<br />
implications and recommendations;<br />
b. A description of the relevance of various<br />
indicators of governance and sustainable<br />
development aspects of ICM programs based<br />
on a common framework for sustainable coastal<br />
development;<br />
c. The results and analysis of each indicator,<br />
including the implications of changing conditions<br />
and recommendations for mitigating measures,<br />
as agreed to by concerned stakeholders; and<br />
d. A description of the SOC methodology and<br />
process, the framework for sustainable coastal<br />
development, and the accomplished SOC<br />
reporting templates.<br />
