participating in the Competition must make a refundable (or for the use of other<br />

purposes) advance payment to the <strong>EHF</strong>. The advance payment per team must amount<br />

to a minimum of € 1,875.<br />

Deposit<br />

5.14. The <strong>EHF</strong> Executive Committee is allowed to set a permanent deposit of between €0 and<br />

€6,000 for each Member Federation, depending on the frequency of its participation in<br />

<strong>EHF</strong> competitions. If a Member Federation has a permanent deposit with the <strong>EHF</strong>, it<br />

does not have to transfer the advance payment as stipulated in article 5.13.<br />

5.15. If the frequency of Member Federation participation in <strong>EHF</strong> competitions changes, the<br />

amount of the individual permanent deposit may be adjusted by the <strong>EHF</strong> Executive<br />

Committee.<br />

Duties of the Member Federations<br />

5.16. On entering the Competition, participating Member Federations and each and every<br />

delegation member agree:<br />

a) to comply with the IHF Rules of the Game (and with the specifications to the IHF<br />

Rules of the Game applying to the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification)<br />

b) to respect the principles of fair-play as defined in the Statutes of the <strong>EHF</strong><br />

c) to stage and participate in all matches in the Competition in accordance with the<br />

present <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification Regulations and any other applicable<br />

regulations<br />

d) to comply with all decisions regarding the Competition taken by the<br />

<strong>EHF</strong> Executive Committee, the <strong>EHF</strong> Office or any other competent body and<br />

communicated appropriately (by official letter, fax or email)<br />

e) to observe the <strong>EHF</strong> Rules on Safety and Security Procedure for all matches in<br />

the Competition<br />

f) to indemnify, defend and hold the <strong>EHF</strong> free and harmless against any and all<br />

liabilities, obligations, losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, fines and<br />

expenses of whatsoever kind or nature resulting from, arising out of, or<br />

attributable to any non-compliance by the participating Member Federation or<br />

any of its players, officials, employees, representatives or agents with these <strong>EHF</strong><br />

<strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification Regulations.<br />

IV. WITHDRAWAL, FAILURE TO PLAY AND SIMILAR CASES<br />
