39.2. The Host Federation must nominate a contact person for the <strong>EHF</strong> Media and<br />

Communications department, in charge of implementing the requirements regarding<br />

media and communications defined herein before, during and after the tournament.<br />

39.3. The Host Federation commits to actively promote the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification<br />

tournament before the local media (newspapers, magazines, radio, etc.) in particular<br />

by providing them relevant information on a regular basis. All available information<br />

such as player lists, match reports, statistics as well as additional team and player<br />

information must be made available by the Host Federation to the media representatives.<br />

39.4. The Host Federation communication about the event must be of highest standard in<br />

accordance with younger age category top sporting events.<br />

Mixed zone<br />

39.5. The Host Federation may set-up a mixed zone on the way from the playing court to the<br />

teams’ dressing room to be used after the match by the media representatives.<br />

39.6. If set-up, the mixed zone must be located directly outside the player exit.<br />

39.7. The mixed zone must be accessible by the TV host broadcaster and the accredited<br />

media representatives. The Host Federation must ensure that the mixed zone is safe<br />

and not accessible by the general public or any other non-authorised people.<br />

39.8. All players of both teams are obliged to pass through the mixed zone, if set-up, after<br />

the match on their way to the dressing rooms. The Host Federation must inform the<br />

teams on the location of the mixed zone accordingly.<br />

Photographers<br />

39.9. A photographer must be hired by the Host Federation to make high resolution photos<br />

of the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification matches.<br />

39.10. The following photos of each match should be supplied free of charge by the Host<br />

Federation to the <strong>EHF</strong> Office – department Media and Communications:<br />

• pre-match: current squad/playing hall<br />

• line-up of each team at match<br />

• general hall from match<br />

• fan(s) close up<br />

• action first half and second half<br />

• both teams attacking in match<br />

• both referees in action during match<br />

• winning celebration<br />
