PRE – MATCH PROCEDURE<br />
Count down 15 minutes before the throw-off<br />
1) Flag mascots, referees, teams ready at the entry meeting point.<br />
• Entry meeting point = pre-defined corner of the playing hall<br />
• No more possibility to leave the playing court area for any person participating to the pre-match<br />
procedure<br />
2) Start of the protocol flag presentation by 4 “flag presenting children”<br />
• The children march the one after the other to the centre of the playing court, turn at the centre,<br />
head the judges’ table, walk in its direction and stop 5 meters in front of it<br />
• The front children kneel down<br />
3) Line-up of Team A/B<br />
• Referee A enters the court<br />
• Mascot child of Team A/B enters the court and stands in line on the right of referee A<br />
• Captain of Team A/B enters the court and stands in line, on the right of the mascot child<br />
• Other players of Team A/B enter the court and stand in line<br />
4) Line-up of Team B/A<br />
• Referee B enters the court<br />
• Mascot child of Team B/A enters the court and stands in line, on the left of referee B<br />
• Captain of Team B enters the court and stands in line, on the left of the mascot child<br />
• Other players of Team B/A enter the court and stands in line<br />
• The mascot children carry the flags of the country of the respective teams.<br />
• The mascot children are the link between the referees and the captains of the respective teams.<br />
5) Introduction of Team A – players and officials<br />
6) Introduction of Team B – players and officials<br />
7) Introduction of the referees, <strong>EHF</strong> officials/Start of the TV transmission (optional)<br />
8) National anthem of Team A<br />
• Mascot child of Team A steps forward, turns 90° to team A presenting the national flag of team A<br />
9) National anthem of Team B<br />
• Mascot child of Team B steps forward, turns 90° to team B presenting the national flag of team B<br />
10) Fair play announcement/Final match preparations of the teams<br />
11) Throw-off/Order by <strong>EHF</strong> delegate supported by the floor manager<br />
