XII. INSURANCE<br />

Article 21<br />

General principles<br />

21.1. Every one involved in the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification is responsible for its own insurance<br />

cover.<br />

21.2. The participating Member Federations are responsible for and undertake to conclude<br />

all necessary and adequate insurance cover, including accident and health insurance,<br />

for their delegation members, including players, technical staff and officials, at their<br />

own expense for the whole duration of the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification.<br />

Host Federations<br />

21.3. The Host Federations are responsible for the insurance cover of the sites used for the<br />

<strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification including hall, facilities and official zones. If the Host<br />

Federations are not the owner of the hall used, they are also responsible for ensuring<br />

that the hall owner and/or tenant in question provides a fully comprehensive insurance<br />

cover, including third-party liability and property damage.<br />

21.4. In addition to article 21.2, the Host Federations must conclude at their own expense<br />

adequate insurance cover (including cancellation) for all risks arising from organising<br />

and staging the respective <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification tournament, in accordance with<br />

their responsibilities. The insurance cover must include third-party liability insurance<br />

coverage and must cover the possible loss or damage of the materials provided by the<br />

<strong>EHF</strong>.<br />

<strong>EHF</strong><br />

21.5. The <strong>EHF</strong> is responsible for the accident and health insurance of the nominated <strong>EHF</strong><br />

Officials for the duration of their assignment.<br />

Further requirements<br />

21.6. Claims for damages against the <strong>EHF</strong> are expressly excluded. Anyone involved must<br />

hold <strong>EHF</strong> harmless from any and all claims for liability arising in relation to<br />
