44.5. Member Federations must immediately inform the <strong>EHF</strong> of any decision at national<br />

level sanctioning a player for doping (including interim measures of protection/<br />

temporary injunction). A copy of the decision must be sent to the <strong>EHF</strong> Office. Decisions<br />

of Member Federations concerning doping confirmed by the <strong>EHF</strong> Anti-Doping Unit will<br />

be automatically implemented by the <strong>EHF</strong> at <strong>European</strong> level.<br />

XXiV. SPECIAL REGULATIONS<br />

Article 45<br />

Qualification for World Championships for younger age category<br />

45.1. Based on the places available to the continents in IHF World Championships for<br />

younger age category, the two (2) top ranked teams in a Women’s or Men’s Younger<br />

Age Category <strong>European</strong> Championship qualify directly for the IHF World Championship<br />

of the corresponding age category and gender.<br />

45.2. Further places are played in a separate qualifying competition or are directly assigned<br />

by the <strong>EHF</strong> on the basis of the respective <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> ranking, depending on the number<br />

of places available for Europe.<br />

45.3. The Younger Age Category World Championship Qualifications Europe are played<br />

according to the present Regulations.<br />

XXV. CLOSING PROVISIONS<br />

Article 46<br />

46.1. All enclosures form an integral part of these regulations.<br />

46.2. These regulations were adopted by the <strong>EHF</strong> Executive Committee on 23 September and<br />

came into force on 1 October 2011.<br />

46.3 Any amendment to the present regulations decided by the <strong>EHF</strong> Executive Committee<br />

and/or the <strong>EHF</strong> Congress will be communicated via circulars or reports to the <strong>EHF</strong><br />

Member Federations.<br />
