Exclusion of liability<br />

43.2. The <strong>EHF</strong> shall not be liable for any third-party liability claims arising from the execution<br />

of single matches or any other events in connection with <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification<br />

tournaments.<br />

Exclusion of Protests<br />

43.3. With regard to all and any <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification matches, protests are not<br />

admissible when relating to:<br />

a) scheduling and drawing of the matches<br />

b) nomination of referees and delegate(s)<br />

c) referee’s decisions on facts in accordance with the Rules of the Game, including<br />

those based on <strong>EHF</strong> delegates’ recommendations<br />

Direct disqualification<br />

43.4. Any player sent off by the referees with a direct disqualification in a <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong><br />

Qualification match is not eligible to play in the respective team’s next match of the<br />

current <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification.<br />

43.5. In case of direct disqualification of player(s) during the last match of a <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong><br />

Qualification of the respective team, the <strong>EHF</strong> referees and the <strong>EHF</strong> delegate of the<br />

match must write a specific report. Temporary exclusions/suspension from <strong>EHF</strong><br />

competitions may be decided by the competent <strong>EHF</strong> legal bodies based on the report<br />

and according to the <strong>EHF</strong> Legal Regulations and <strong>EHF</strong> List of Penalties.<br />

Procedure<br />

43.6. The <strong>EHF</strong> delegate has the right and the obligation to act as legal body of first instance<br />

with regard to any protest related to the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification matches.<br />

43.7. Protests must be handed over in writing to the <strong>EHF</strong> delegate of the match within one<br />

(1) hour after the end of the relevant match.<br />

43.8. Moreover a protest fee of € 1,000 must be paid by the claimant to the <strong>EHF</strong>. Such<br />

amount must be paid directly to the <strong>EHF</strong> delegate or must be transferred to the <strong>EHF</strong><br />

bank account at the same time the protest is handed over. A written proof a payment of<br />

the protest fee in the defined deadline shall be deemed sufficient.<br />

43.9. If the protest is fully granted, the protest fee is refunded to the claimant; otherwise it is<br />

forfeited to the credit of the <strong>EHF</strong>.<br />
