Qualification matches, a draw must decide the ranking. The draw must be carried out<br />

by the <strong>EHF</strong>, if possible in the presence of at least one (1) representative of each<br />

Federation concerned.<br />

Article 9<br />

Playing schedule<br />

9.1. The matches of the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification must be played according to the playing<br />

schedule defined in enclosure 1.<br />

9.2. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if requested, the playing schedule may be modified<br />

after the draw of the groups upon express approval of the <strong>EHF</strong>. <strong>EHF</strong> decision in this<br />

matter is final.<br />

Article 10<br />

Qualification in the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong><br />

10.1. The qualification rule for each <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> is defined and decided by the <strong>EHF</strong> according<br />

to the practicalities (e.g. 16 participating teams in the final tournament) and the final<br />

format of the respective <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification (e.g. the number of groups). The rule<br />

is communicated to all participating Member Federations in due time prior to the<br />

beginning of the respective Competition. The decision of the <strong>EHF</strong> is final.<br />

VI. COMPETITION / MATCHES DATES AND TIMES<br />

Article 11<br />

Playing periods<br />

11.1. The playing dates/period of each <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification are fixed by the <strong>EHF</strong>. They<br />

are notified to the Member Federations in the announcement of the Competition. <strong>YAC</strong><br />

<strong>EURO</strong> Qualification tournaments must be played during the respective pre-defined<br />

playing dates/periods. <strong>EHF</strong> decision in this matter is final.<br />

Match dates / Throw-off times<br />

11.2. The Host Federation must make a proposal of date and throw-off time for each match<br />

of the tournament to the <strong>EHF</strong> at least two (2) months before the respective playing<br />

period. The proposal must take into consideration the pre-defined playing schedule<br />

and playing dates/period as well as the following requirement: there must be at least<br />

eighteen (18) hours interval between the throw-offs of 2 (two) successive matches of a<br />

team.<br />

11.3. The exact dates and throw-off times of each <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification match are subject<br />
