een expressly approved by the <strong>EHF</strong> following, if necessary, one or more inspections.<br />

23.10. If not already approved by the <strong>EHF</strong>, the training halls which are intended to be used for<br />

the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification tournaments must be presented by the respective Host<br />

Federation to the <strong>EHF</strong> two (2) months before the beginning of the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong><br />

Qualification. The Host Federation must send the <strong>EHF</strong> Office the training hall<br />

documentation requested by the <strong>EHF</strong>, including (without limitation) photos of the<br />

training hall.<br />

23.11. The Host Federation must present training halls meeting the criteria defined herein<br />

and in other applicable <strong>EHF</strong> regulations and manuals. The following minimum<br />

infrastructure criteria are required:<br />

• A base area of at least 44m x 22m<br />

• Fixed goals<br />

• A floor with handball lines and an even and undisturbed surface (sport floor)<br />

• No metal construction, equipment of other sports or similar objects must be installed<br />

on, above or close the playing court of the training hall<br />

• Two (2) dressing rooms of at least 15m² with showers and toilets<br />

Choice of hotels<br />

23.12. The Host Federation must organise and reserve hotel rooms at the venue for the guest<br />

teams and of for the <strong>EHF</strong> Officials. The guest teams and <strong>EHF</strong> Officials hotels must be<br />

expressly approved by the <strong>EHF</strong> following, if necessary, one or more inspections.<br />

23.13. The Host Federation must send all necessary information about the hotels proposed<br />

to accommodate the guest teams and the <strong>EHF</strong> Officials at the venue within the deadline<br />

announced by the <strong>EHF</strong> to the Host Federations in due time prior to the beginning of the<br />

<strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification.<br />

23.14. Hotels of the <strong>EHF</strong> Officials and of the guest teams must meet the following criteria:<br />

• Three (3) stars minimum (international standard)<br />

• Availability of single rooms and double rooms with twin beds<br />

• Distance to the playing hall : maximum 25 km/45 min<br />

23.15. Hotels of the <strong>EHF</strong> Officials and of the guest teams must not be the one where the<br />

guest team(s) fans stay. Exception may be granted by the <strong>EHF</strong> upon a respective<br />

request.<br />

23.16. The <strong>EHF</strong> has the right, at the Host Federation’s costs, to change the <strong>EHF</strong> Officials<br />

and/or the guest teams hotels once on site, if the minimum criteria defined herein or<br />
