I. GENERAL PROVISIONS<br />
Article 1<br />
Scope of application<br />
1.1. The present <strong>EHF</strong> Younger Age Category <strong>European</strong> Championship Qualification<br />
Regulations (“<strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification Regulations”) govern the rights, duties and<br />
responsibilities of all parties participating and involved in the preparation and<br />
organisation of the following team’s competitions organised by the <strong>European</strong> Handball<br />
Federation (“<strong>EHF</strong>”) pursuant to article 1.2 and 10.1 of the Statutes of the <strong>EHF</strong>:<br />
• Women’s 17 <strong>European</strong> Championships qualification rounds<br />
• Women’s 19 <strong>European</strong> Championships qualification rounds<br />
• Men’s 18 <strong>European</strong> Championships qualification rounds<br />
• Men’s 20 <strong>European</strong> Championships qualification rounds<br />
These competitions are hereinafter jointly referred to as “<strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualifications” or<br />
individually referred to as “W17/W19/M18 or M20 <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification”.<br />
1.2. The final tournaments of the Younger Age Category <strong>European</strong> Championships and the<br />
Men’s/Women’s <strong>European</strong> Championships (qualifying competitions and final<br />
tournaments) organised by the <strong>EHF</strong> are specifically excluded from the application of<br />
the present <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification Regulations.<br />
1.3. The <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification Regulations also regulate the IHF <strong>YAC</strong> World<br />
Championship Qualification Europe subject to the conditions defined in article 46.<br />
Article 2<br />
Fair play<br />
2.1. The principles of fair play must be observed by the <strong>EHF</strong> Member Federations, their<br />
delegations and their teams in all matches. Every member of the <strong>EHF</strong> Member<br />
Federation delegations participating in the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification must:<br />
• Observe the Rules of the Game and the regulations governing the competition<br />
• Respect all participants (players, officials, spectators, media representatives etc.)<br />
• Promote the spirit of sportsmanship and pursue the cultural mission<br />
Article 3<br />
Applicable rules and regulations<br />
3.1. All <strong>EHF</strong> regulations, manuals and guidelines applicable to the <strong>YAC</strong> <strong>EURO</strong> Qualification<br />
