Surtenich reports.
Practitioners and patients alike at Skin Renu in Balmain, Sydney have been
blown away by the results they are seeing with the Infini non-surgical skin
tightening and refining treatment.
Infini is a new technology clinically proven to increase collagen production in
the skin. It combines the benefits of radiofrequency (RF) energy and microneedling
to stimulate collagen production and contraction, creating a firmer, stronger and
more youthful complexion.
Infini is most commonly used to address wrinkles, facial and neck skin laxity,
as well as acne scars, enlarged pores and overall complexion rejuvenation. The
technology is being heralded by many practitioners as a bridge between nonsurgical
and surgical procedures in terms of the results being achieved.
Infini is unique in its approach to treating both the superficial and deeper
layers of the skin. It combines microneedling fractional radiofrequency (MFR) and
superficial fractional radiofrequency (SFR) to create a stronger skin structure, and
a firmer and more youthful-looking complexion.
MFR uses insulated microneedles to deliver RF energy to the dermis (the
connective tissue layer of the skin located below the epidermis). This causes
controlled areas of coagulation, or tissue shrinkage, and triggers the body’s
natural healing response, promoting collagen production without damaging
the skin’s superficial layers. New collagen fibres begin to form four weeks after
treatment, with results showing within 10 weeks.
Complementing this, the SFR technology delivers thermal energy via two
channels to penetrate both the epidermis and the dermis. SFR also provides
microablation on the skin’s upper layers, to illuminate the complexion and
homogenise skin texture.
By combining radiofrequency energies, at different levels in the skin, a
thorough and effective regeneration can be achieved. This is elevated by the
