Mit dem <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> und weiteren Veranstaltungen wie<br />
Auktionen und Side Events setzt aids life — der<br />
Verein hinter dem <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> — Jahr für Jahr alles daran,<br />
mithilfe zahlreicher Persönlichkeiten, internationaler<br />
Prominenz und der Medien die Öffentlichkeit für hiv<br />
und aids zu sensibilisieren, ein Zeichen der Akzeptanz<br />
und Solidarität gegen die Ausgrenzung von Betroffenen<br />
und Minderheiten zu setzen und möglichst hohe Spendenerlöse<br />
zu lukrieren. Dabei greift der <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> auf<br />
internationale Partner zurück, darunter die Clinton<br />
Health Access Initiative, amfar, die Elton John aids<br />
Foundation und auf nationaler Ebene beispielsweise die<br />
aids Hilfen in Österreich.<br />

Through the <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> and other events, such as auctions<br />
and side events, aids life (the association behind the<br />
<strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong>) draws on the support of numerous celebrities,<br />
international stars and the media each year to increase<br />
awareness of hiv and aids among the public, to encourage<br />
acceptance and solidarity rather than the exclusion<br />
of minorities and sufferers and to generate as many<br />
donations as possible. The <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> also teams up with<br />
international partners including the Clinton Health<br />
Access Initiative, amfar, Elton John aids Foundation<br />
and national charities such as the aids help organisations<br />
in Austria.<br />
