74 Life Ball wants fashion
Kiesbauer. Dem frenetischen Applaus tut auch die zeitweilige
Unterbrechung der Musik durch einen Life
Ball-Gast, der unabsichtlich einen Stecker löst, keinen
Abbruch.
seiner Frau zujubelt.
Teile seiner Kollektion: Neonfarben, Kunstpelz, Neopren
und Roben aus wattierter Ballonseide bringen das
Publikum in Fahrt.
kollers Busenblitzer.
frenetic applause for
madonna’s corset and
Koller’s nipplegate.
heard and actress Katja Royer speeds down the catwalk
into the centre of the festival hall on the bike. Then it all
kicks off to the acid house sounds of Winx. A blend of
Gaultier’s current collection and iconic components from
previous seasons sweep down the catwalk. Top international
models like Emma S. and Shalom strut their stuff
together with professionals like goalkeeper Otto Konrad
or presenter Arabella Kiesbauer. The frenetic applause
does not even let up during the temporary interruption
to the music when a Life Ball guest inadvertently pulls
out a plug.
The show also includes a live act: the famous accordion
player Yvette Horner, 72 years old at the time. Dagmar
Koller, wife of the mayor Helmut Zilk, receives special
applause while her husband cheers her on.
This famous singer and dancer’s ‘wardrobe malfunction’
is still famous today.
of his best-of looks such as the Madonna bustier and
himself makes an appearance on the catwalk in a leopard
the cheering crowd. And at the end of the evening,
everyone is agreed: Vienna has never seen anything like
this before!
