1 Rathaus<br />
Das Rathaus ist traditioneller Veranstaltungsort des <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong>,<br />
eines der größten aids-Charity-Events weltweit. Die Eröffnung<br />
kann kostenfrei verfolgt werden: Der Magenta Carpet öffnet um<br />
19.30 Uhr, Start der Eröffnungsshow ist 21.30 Uhr.<br />

The City Hall is the traditional venue for the <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong>, one<br />
of the biggest aids charity events in the world. Anyone can see<br />
the opening ceremony for free: the Magenta Carpet will open<br />
at 7:30 p. m. and the opening show will begin at 9.30 p. m.<br />
2 Volksgarten<br />
Wer kein <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong>-Ticket besitzt und nach der Eröffnung um<br />
23.00 Uhr weiterfeiern möchte, kann im volksgarten die<br />
Nacht zum Tag machen. Auch die offizielle <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> After Hour<br />
wird hier ab 4.00 Uhr zelebriert.<br />
Volksgarten<br />
Those without a <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> ticket who want to carry on the celebrations<br />
after the opening ceremony at 11.00 p. m. can party the<br />
night away at the volksgarten. The official <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> After<br />
Hour event will also be celebrated here from 4.00 a. m. onwards.<br />
3 Burgtheater<br />
Das <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong>-Wochenende wird mit dem Red Ribbon Celebration<br />
Concert im Burgtheater in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bundesministerium<br />
für Europa, Integration und Äußeres eingeleitet. Anna<br />
Netrebko, Plácido Domingo, Birgit Minichmayr und viele andere<br />
interpretieren das Motto „Gold — Ver Sacrum“ künstlerisch.<br />
Burgtheater<br />
The <strong>Life</strong> <strong>Ball</strong> weekend will kick off at the Burgtheater with the<br />
Red Ribbon Celebration Concert, in collaboration with the<br />
Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs. Anna Netrebko,<br />
Plácido Domingo, Birgit Minichmayr et al. will be lending<br />
their artistic interpretations to the motto of ‘Gold — Ver Sacrum’.<br />

<strong>Ball</strong> audi designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. The auction will be<br />
sup ported by the dorotheum Vienna and led by Dorotheum<br />

6 Hotel Imperial & Hotel Le Méridien<br />
Das Hotel Imperial und das Le Méridien stellen nicht nur<br />

auch zahlreiche Veranstaltungen im Vorfeld des <strong>Ball</strong>s statt:<br />
im Le Méridien der Welcome Cocktail, im Hotel Imperial die<br />
internationale Pressekonferenz.<br />
