Ich denke nicht, dass es eine neue Seite sein wird, es
werden im besten Fall einige Seiten sein. Es ist nicht
leicht, in einem einzigen Album alles unterzubringen,
was ich liebe, aber ich denke, die erste Facette ist uns
ganz gut gelungen. „You are unstoppable“ schlägt
definitiv schon in diese Kerbe.
was dürfen wir von conchita wurst am
life ball 2015 erwarten?
Für mich ist es zum einen einer der schönsten Abende
des Jahres. Ein Fest, das stimmungsvoll und notwendig
zugleich ist. Und zum anderen ist es, wie jedes Jahr,
unglaublich wichtig, mit der Aufmerksamkeit das zu
transportieren, was man leider oft vergisst: Respekt!
Respekt allen anderen gegenüber, aber auch sich selbst
zu respektieren fällt manchmal nicht leicht. Man hat nur
ein Leben, und ich denke, dass man es nicht gefährden
sollte durch Respektlosigkeit sich selbst gegenüber.

your single ‘you are unstoppable’ gave us a
taste of the new conchita album. so what can
we expect? will we see a new musical dimension
of conchita wurst?
I don’t think it will be a new dimension as such but
ideally it will be a few different sides. It’s not easy to
combine everything I love in a single album but I think
the first facet was a success. ‘You are unstoppable’
certainly ticks this box.
what can we expect from conchita wurst
at the life ball 2015?
For me, it is first and foremost one of the best evenings of
the year. A celebration which is both atmospheric and
essential. And secondly, like every year, it is unbelievably
important to use the attention to convey something
which is often overlooked: respect! Respecting others as
well as respecting oneself is not always easy. We only
have one life and I think we should not place that in
danger by failing to respect oneself.
