NO BEAUTY IN THE BEAST 9So, in sum, what we are discussing here is the Apocalypse, albeit in a vastly different light than thatwhich encompasses how it is discussed today. The argument being made here is that we are now livingin the age of Antichrist, not necessarily as a man, but rather as the resurrected form of Pharisaical Judaismthat was defeated 20 centuries past and which has now re-emerged as the ideology known as Zionism.The abomination of desolation sitting in the holy place is none other than Pharisaical Judaism’s return to theland of Israel from whence it was chased 20 centuries before, while the whore of Babylon is a depiction ofmodern-day Christianity and its adherents who have apostatized by adopting the very same tenets of theJewish supremacist agenda which Christ came to destroy, adherents who, by so doing have betrayedtheir rightful spouse and have thus become prostitutes for the Zionist agenda.My reason for doing this, in addition to satisfying my own curiosity, is to shed what I hope is some kindof enlightenment upon others for their own benefit. Realizing that all of this appears to carry an air ofpompousness attached to it, nevertheless, I must add what are my two cents to this, especially sincenothing that anyone else is saying makes and sense. I am of the opinion that the larger portion of theChristian world, to which I proudly maintain my own membership, is dead wrong about most of whatthey envision concerning these times. When I view and then analyze what it is they have to say about allof this business, I am reminded of that scene in the movie Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark,wherein a rival group of treasure hunters are furiously digging away at what they believe is the locationof this great find, but doing so in vain. As in the movie, this has taken place as a result of the fact that theyonly possess half of the information, and with that find themselves at present engaged in the business ofutter foolishness.It is my sincere hope that I am able to make this discussion profitable to all of us who find ourselves hereconsidering this most important topic. It is my greater hope though that what I have envisioned withinthe puny confines of a limited human intellect will be able to find cogent, clear expression in what I havewritten, and that as a result, nothing has been lost in translation.Mark GlennThe Christian season of Lent, 2005
