SECONDARY EDUCATION, CAREERTECHNOLOGIES (CLASS A) (6-12)ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSApplicants for the Master’s degree certificationprograms must be admitted to the School of <strong>Graduate</strong>Studies and to Teacher Education. Admission toTeacher Education requires the applicant to (1)present evidence of having completed aBaccalaureate degree program in a teaching field, (2)present a copy of a Class B professional educator’sCertificate ( regular Master’s program); and (3)present transcript(s) showing a baccalaureate degreegrade point average of 2.50 or better (on a 4.00 pointsystem).Applicants for the Master’s degree in InstructionalLeadership must have a minimum of three full yearsof full-time experience in a P-12 setting.Applicants for the P-12 Reading SpecialistsCertification must have completed two years ofteaching experience and present a copy of a Class BProfessional Educator’s Certificate in ElementaryEducation, Early Childhood Education, orCollaborative Teacher.
