SECONDARY EDUCATION, CAREERTECHNOLOGIES (CLASS A) (6-12)ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSApplicants for the Master’s degree certificationprograms must be admitted to the School of GraduateStudies and to Teacher Education. Admission toTeacher Education requires the applicant to (1)present evidence of having completed aBaccalaureate degree program in a teaching field, (2)present a copy of a Class B professional educator’sCertificate ( regular Master’s program); and (3)present transcript(s) showing a baccalaureate degreegrade point average of 2.50 or better (on a 4.00 pointsystem).Applicants for the Master’s degree in InstructionalLeadership must have a minimum of three full yearsof full-time experience in a P-12 setting.Applicants for the P-12 Reading SpecialistsCertification must have completed two years ofteaching experience and present a copy of a Class BProfessional Educator’s Certificate in ElementaryEducation, Early Childhood Education, orCollaborative Teacher.
