The inclination andthe pitch of the iron allow a skewed cutand also easier sharpening because theiron is formed like a normal plane iron.The blade also guides the cutting forcestowards the inside to prevent surface tearingalong the dovetail tip. This technicalsolution is not considered by many othersuppliers and therefore fairly rare.
