<strong>Mitigation</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Remedy</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Groundwater</strong> <strong>Arsenic</strong> <strong>Menace</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>India</strong> : A Vision Document10.1 Mission ManagementChapter-10Mission Management <strong>and</strong> Time FrameIn order to coord<strong>in</strong>ate, facilitate <strong>and</strong> monitor the various tasks, envisaged <strong>in</strong> thisdocument <strong>and</strong> to <strong>in</strong>itiate dialogue <strong>and</strong> activities on other sphere <strong>of</strong> water quality related issues, itis proposed to constitute a National level Committee, which can be named as "National TaskForce for Water Quality Management. This can comprise resourceful experts, renowned<strong>in</strong>dividual/organizations <strong>and</strong> Government <strong>of</strong>ficials from related departments. S<strong>in</strong>ce quantity shapesthe fate <strong>of</strong> quality, the M<strong>in</strong>istry <strong>of</strong> Water Resources, Government <strong>of</strong> <strong>India</strong>, can be the nodalm<strong>in</strong>istry for coord<strong>in</strong>ation <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>itiation <strong>of</strong> various activities related to 'Water QualityManagement'. The proposed committee can be headed by the Secretary (WR).
