Mission Management <strong>and</strong> Time Frame10.2 Time FrameExcept the R & D component, all other components are field oriented, which can betaken up as a 'mission mode', <strong>in</strong>itiat<strong>in</strong>g dialogue with respective state government. In fact, it is therespective State government, who has to take <strong>in</strong>itiative for develop<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> implement<strong>in</strong>gprogrammes. The Central government can provide technical assistance <strong>and</strong> guidance for development<strong>and</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> the programmes. In two components, namely, the R & D <strong>and</strong>Mass awareness <strong>and</strong> tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g programmes, the Central government has the responsibility to<strong>in</strong>itiate <strong>and</strong> implement the activities.Keep<strong>in</strong>g the above <strong>in</strong> view, the time frame for achiev<strong>in</strong>g the targeted goals is set to be 5(Five) years from 2010 as per the follow<strong>in</strong>g details:164NIH & CGWB
