A breakdown of eight individual aspects revealed by young dyslexic learnersthrough metaphorsAn overall summary is a way to examine what views these participants withdyslexia have towards their learning elements and skills. However, it is morebeneficial for teachers and researchers to see how these views are expressed indetail with reference to aspects of learning.Among these eight aspects, the concept of dyslexia and the learning of writing,a second language and maths were perceived as negative or more difficult bythese participants. However, their metaphors and entailments show that they hadmore confidence and joy in learning science and English, and in expressing theirthoughts in English.
