The gas condensate fields of Western Siberiabelong to multihorizon fields [1], composedof terrigenous deposits with various degree ofpermeability. During bottom-hole treatment BHT ofsuch fields the acid mainly gets into the most drainedand more permeable intervals. That is why lesspermeable layers are not treated, especially the cracksand pores of these layers. Separation of horizonsallows the acid penetrate into less permeableintervals. Thus, each section of layers, which have tobe treated, will undergo BHT.At the closing stage of developing such fields withabnormally low formation pressure (ALFP) and a highdegree of field water cut, it is difficult to perform BHTvia wash pipes after well killing. It is also not alwaysefficient due to additional formation clogging withkilling liquids filtrates [2, 3].In such conditions it is more preferable toperform BHT without well killing, by pumping acidcomposition via with a long-length flush-joint CTunit (CTU) [4, 5].The best way to separate horizons from each otheris to use packer devices in the process of BHT. Yet,this method has a substantial disadvantage. Thediameter of the packer device should be enough forits penetration through the internal space of thetubing string. After it passes through the productionstring, it is necessary to seal the production string, which has a larger OD and close its flow area. That iswhy the packer devices lifted into the well shall havethe elements capable of efficiently sealing such a largeannular space between the production string andCTU, which is several times larger than the annularspace between the tubing spacer and CTU. [6, 7].That is why a method, which allows cuttingproductive layers from each other by a sand pluginwashed in the wellbore, is more preferable and lesscostly. One of such methods is a method of isolatingformation waters inflow licensed by the patent of theRF № 2488962 [8].The formations with multihorizon fields56 № 4 (0<strong>50</strong>) Декабрь / December 2014
За счет этогоодновременно повышается эффективностьобработки трещиновато-поровогопродуктивного пласта и снижается стоимостьремонта вследствие устранения применениядорогостоящих пакерующих устройств, вhave different permeability, that is why BHT ofsuch formations should be performed with acidcompositions selected for treating specific horizons, such as hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, aeratedhydrocarbon emulsified acid and other acid solutions[1, 7].Foreign operators perform O&G wells BHT with atechnology based on hydrochloric acid pumped andpushed into the formation [9].The domestic producers most frequently usea technology of acid treatment of the formationwith hydrochloric acid pumped and pushed inthe formation for its further delivery to the treatedinterval [10].One of the disadvantages of this technology is poorefficiency of the productive layer BHT, more overwhen horizons have different permeability. The interval BHT of an O&G well is performed witha technology providing for separation of productivelayers with packer devices and pumping an acidsolution into the productive layer via a coiled tubingunit. The technology was designed by a group ofresearchers led by D.A. Kustyshev. [11]. One of thedisadvantages of the proposed technology is highlabor intensiveness of separating the productivelayers and poor efficiency of treating the fracturedand porous productive layers, especially in the area offractures and pores in the bottom-hole area rocks. In order to cut the expenses on BHT ofmultihorizon fields the authors suggested a newtechnology [12] based on separating the productivelayers by inwashing the proppant plugs in thewellbore. It raises the efficiency of treating thefractured and porous productive layers and at thesame time brings down the service costs, as there isno necessity in using expensive packer devices, manyof which are manufactured abroad. The technology is implemented in O&G well ofmulti-horizon fields equipped with production string1 and tubing string 2 lowered till the top of the upperformation in the following order. At first (Figure 1) the wellbore, till the surfaceof the productive layer 3, usually composed of lowpermeable clay rocks with the permeability below40 ·10 -3 µm 2 , is subject to proppant plug inwashing. The plug 4 consists of a large piece of proppant, forinstance 6–10 mesh. (the diameter of the particle isabout 2 mm). After that CTU 5 is lowered into the well, whichis still not killed, till the top of inwashed proppantplug 4. The CTU is used to pass the acid composition6 pumped into the upper treated layer 3. The acidcomposition is a solution of mud acid, which consistsof 3–5% hydrofluoric acid and 10–12 % hydrochloricacid, in the amount of 1,5–2,0 m 3 per 1 m of thetreated interval. The acid composition 6 is pushed by inactive gas(nitrogen) 7 into the bottom-hole area of the uppertreated area 3 on the depth of the clogged area, including rock fractures and pores. The acid solution6 is left for the period of its reaction with the clogging№ 4 (0<strong>50</strong>) Декабрь / December 2014 57Technologies
