<strong>The</strong> Blue Bird was one of the most famous Trans-European Express trains of<br />
its time. Released in 1929, this deluxe passenger locomotive went between<br />
Paris and Antwerp, stopping in Brussels along the way. As can be gleaned from<br />
this poster, speed was of the utmost importance, the ghost of steam being the<br />
only indicator that the train ever passed this station.<br />

all-time high by the 1920s. To meet this demand, Ford Motor Company teamed<br />
up with Pilkington, an English glass manufacturer, and formed Triplex in 1923.<br />
