the sketches he made of her and of other black �������������������������������<br />

forty-eight plates, published in a limited edition of 500, are the result. <strong>The</strong><br />

images were drawn directly on the stone by Colin at the Chachoin plant in Paris<br />

and then stencil-colored (the term for this technique is pochoir). Pulsating with<br />

color and movement, the portfolio contains the very best of Colin’s lithographic<br />
