Noticing the PLM train chugging along the hill below, a hiker waves broadly

summertime mountain range, we only see him and his companion in silhouette, a
small cabin also in view toward the lower left. One of the special qualities of this
poster is that it is extremely atmospheric – you can feel the cool of the shadow on
the hikers, the warmth of the sun just over the next hill, the crisp, thinning air as
they ascend toward the peak. This same image was also used by a different train
line for travel to the area, this being the rarer of the two versions.
Having tossed aside her usual torch, Lady Liberty now holds the Bergeronnette
bicycle light aloft to illuminate her path as she travels the world. A rare and
clever design by Mich.
One of many designs Misti created for this annual festival in the
Paris suburb of Neuilly, we are met with an array of busy revelers,
their faces bathed in the glow of orange and green lanterns. Below,
a list of the various activities throughout the weeks include garden
parties, Venetian masked balls, torchlight processions, grand dinners,
and carnivals.
