NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKEDiii) Ensuring the Business area or department under their command complieswith the MoPI CoP, Guidance and Threshold Standards;iv) Liaising with the Force information RRD/Disclosure manager, Force DataProtection Officer, Force Freedom of <strong>Information</strong> Officer or Force <strong>Information</strong>Security Officer where necessary to seek advise and ensure information isshared appropriately within the boundaries of force and national policy andlegal framework.v) Raising issues on information management to the force RRD/DisclosureManager, Force Data Protection and FOI Manager, Force <strong>Information</strong>Security Officer or Force Senior Vetting Officer where necessary who maythen liaise with the IM or equivalent (where necessary);vi) Ensuring data quality is treated as a priority;vii) Ensuring staff are recording information on the appropriate format;viii)Ensuring staff responsible for recording, and undertaking reviews of, policeinformation are trained in accordance with the MoPI National Training andDelivery <strong>Strategy</strong>.6.10.9 Senior Vetting Officera) A Senior Vetting Officers responsibilities include:i) Ensuring that all <strong>Police</strong> Officers, <strong>Police</strong> and Partnership staff, Contractors andPartner Agencies are vetted to the appropriate level for their roles in accordancewith National and Force Vetting Policy.ii) Ensuring effective decision making in respect of granting, refusing orwithdrawing Force or National Security Vetting clearance.iii) Liaising with Force Security Officer, Data Protection Officer and ProfessionalStandards Department for vetting matters.vi) Ensuring Aftercare and Renewals are carried out to continue the integrity ofthe individual working for and with <strong>Lincolnshire</strong> <strong>Police</strong>.v) Maintain appropriate contacts with other Forces and Agencies to ensure bestpractice and achieving a collaborative working approach to vetting processes andprocedures.NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED 52
